Shaz Bilyard is a British artist who resides in the beautiful city of Porto, Portugal, from which she draws her inspiration. Portugal has been her permanent home for twelve years. She created the first Shazequin in August 2015. The art represents an ebullient outpouring of colour, humour and originality. The artist’s principal aim is to express happiness and fun, but she also aims to break down both artistic and social conventions and gender stereotypes. The Shazequin are found in the corridor on the 1st floor of building I of LXFactory.
